DAY 3 - Turtle Learning, greek Dancing & Beach Sleepover

 DATE: Wednesday, June 24 (Day 3): Turtle Day & Beach Sleepover

NOTES: We kicked off the morning with breakfast on a rooftop patio, soaking in a stunning 360-degree view of the town. Afterward, we headed to the ARCHELON Turtle Station for an eye-opening lecture on their marine conservation efforts. We got to check out a few turtle nests, pitched in for a beach clean-up, and wrapped up our afternoon with a refreshing dip in the Ionian Sea. After some relaxing downtime exploring the town, we gathered for dinner before an unforgettable Greek dancing lesson with Yannis, a legendary, 77-year-old NOKY triathlon coach! Once we mastered the traditional steps, we made our way back to the beach to set up our camp under the stars, switching on our red flashlights to begin an exciting night of turtle patrolling along the shore.
